Examinations to be conducted with revised policy

The conduct of examinations is in doubt, however, the province of Punjab has taken the lead in at least taking a step towards the right direction. All the provincial boards have been asked to share their recommendations regarding the conduct of exams for matriculation and intermediate classes. The policy of examination will be revised as per the recommendations of various educational boards of Punjab. Once the recommendations are received, the provincial government shall bring the suggestions and their implications on table to finally reach a best possible solution.

Chairmen of all the nine educational boards of Punjab along with Controllers of Examination and the senior officials of boards have been advised to share their plan of action with Punjab Board. Senior teachers of the province have also been briefed about this decision so that they might not disagree with it at later stages. Punjab Board has been made responsible for acquiring recommendations from all and afterwards, sharing it with Punjab’s Ministry of Education. Once the recommendations are received by the Education Ministry, the revised policy of examination will be announced by Mr. Murad Raas, Punjab’s Minister for Education. However, the announcement shall be made prior to Eid ul Fitr.
