All the staff and employees of Punjab University will have a holiday on March 26, a holiday has been announced on the occasion of Urs of Hazrat Madho Lal Hussain.

All employees, including University Health Center employees, financiers, guards, janitors and cleaning staff, will be on leave on Saturday. Registrar Punjab University has issued notification. The notification has been sent to all the departments of the university.

The annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Shah Hussain aka Madhu Lal Hussain (may Allah have mercy on him) are known as “Mela Chiraghan”.

There will be a local holiday in Lahore on Saturday. Educational institutions and district offices will remain closed. However, divisional offices will remain open. Will give
