The good news for students is that they will now have free meals in schools.

The scope of food program in Lahore schools has been extended, the number of schools providing free food to students has been increased from 20 to 30.

According to sources, the school meal program was launched under a public-private partnership, with the initial target of 100 schools to be met.

Provincial Education Minister Dr Murad Ross said that the program has improved the number of children in schools and their health.

On the other hand, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood also inaugurated the ‘School Meal Program’ in Islamabad today. Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood inaugurated the program by giving food to the children.

According to sources, lunch will be provided to students in government schools by the Lunch Trust. Meals will be provided to 25000 children on a daily basis in 100 schools in Islamabad.
